Ah, good to know. Except now I'll have to figure out how to kill him a 2nd time once i get the key. Hopefully I'll be leveled up enough by then that it won't be as difficult.

uhm .. there is King Doran, he drops really good items - at first a sword and after that his equip and ring (and you'll get a trophy for killing him), but ... if you don't use tricks (there is a good one, with which you can kill him on S.lvl 1) he is very very hard to beat ;)

hehe, by then you'll have killed atleast 6 other red eyes knights ;) (and you'll have encountered far more difficult enemies)

I hate that cocksucker. I lvl'd my str to 22 so I could use the purple sheild and got some arrows and put some turpintine on

my swd and got him down to ONE HIT LEFT. And he killed me....Again.

Had to tun off the game before I had a bitch fit. Soo can anyone recomened where to go after you beat the huge knight guy in 1-2?

Just lure him out until you either get him caught behind something and hit him with Soul Arrow or lure him the stairwell on the other side and use your shield to push him off so he falls waaaaaaaaay down to his death.

I beat 1-1 last night. I am on soul level 16. I know I am just a noob compared to you guys but I wanna take my time with this one.
Now I am focusing on grinding 1-1 with the aim of killing that red dragon (I already got the weapon for that).

It is better to die on one's feet

then live on one's knees

haha lol, did noone write "for beginners you can take here later" or " you need soul level 50 ahead" on the floor before the red eyes knight section in the US version yet ? ;)

I was killed 2 times by him as well, but after that I used him to farm late moon grass and souls.
