I'll try to think of more. Does it really matter though? Life and Death are two parts that are linked together. It's natural for death to be involved with life. Sonic doesn't make death a selling point of its game, so I'm trying to wonder what point you're really trying to come to. Trying to say that sonic uses murder or death as it's "crutch" or "selling point" is ridiculous, so your first post's point is out of the question. Now you're just saying "any death at all", and I'm confused as to what your new point is. :P

I don't think Mario ever uses death as a part of the story. I mean, the only "deaths" are the goombas you stomped on. :B

And yeah, you "lose lives", but that's not really death. It definitely works differently.

Occasionally you would fight thugs on the rooftops. I assume throwing them off the building will kill them.

But back to the topic. In Japan they have games where you try to fuck broads. Not a lot of people die in those.

You know, that's what they want you to believe, but when I have my level 100 Charizard fighting a level 2 Pidgey, well, there's really no chance for the poor thing. There's no way it could survive that.
