Forums - Gaming - Name a non-sports game that doesn't involve death

I'm talking about a game with a story.  Games use the crutch of murder in their stories.  Like the majority of crappy TV fair no suspense can be induced without the threat of death.

Is there anything out there that does not follow this formula.

I had mentioned Prince of Persia.  Now, I read the original post, I need to ask exactly what you are looking for.  Lego games don't really have death in them, but the Legos flying apart is a death of a store.  Your character dying is a major part of most games.  That is the challenge you avoid.

Driving games, without weapons, usually don't have death in them.  Of course, there is the question about whether or not the game has a story.  If it does, then that would count.  And sports titles fit into this also.  Then again, they are weak on story.

Tetris. Blocks don't die!

Ok, seeing Zach and Wiki reminds me... games that are adventure games will sometimes not have death in them. Death in games, however, is a normal plot element. In regards to puzzle games, like Tetris, they normally don't have a story.

Whoever said Psychonauts was probably right.

Zack and Wiki?!?! You can die in like 20 different ways! It's ridiculous.

Ive got a good one. Midnight Club: LA, it has a story and no one ever dies in the game. It's a street racing game so I dont count that as sports.

I forgot. Also De Blob (I think).

I don't mind if the game gives you freedom to kill, but it should not be forcing you to kill people to advance the story.

There should always be a no kill achievement

Repent or be destroyed

Metal Gear Solid 3 does, at least

Oh fuck, you do kill The Boss at the end. Nevermind.

Maybe... Mario Party games?
