Ok so can we all agree that the ps3 has the same chance of getting KH3 as the wii?

I would personally expect the main series to stay on Sony hardware, but there are a buttload of spin-offs apparently being made, they can't all be for PS3, and I see no reason SE would refrain from putting a few games outside of the main continuum onto other consoles, it would help their financial situation as well.

I would say there is a chance it could be on any system. It really all depends on when development began. If KH3 development began more than 10 months ago, then it's most likely on the PS3. If it began sometime in 2007, it's most likely on the Wii.

However, there is always the chance that Sony or Microsoft bought the exclusive. This is a common practice for both companies so I wouldn't be surprised if that happened. Because of these factors, it could go about anywhere, and has an equal chance of going about anywhere. However, from a straight financial and logical standpoint, it would most likely be on the Wii.

As far as the spinoffs go, I'm guessing they will be spread out across 3 or so platforms. Off hand I would say that they'll be on the PSP, DS, and Wii. Of course, that could just be wishful thinking on my part since those are the 3 I own. I am positive though that at least one spinoff will be on one of those 3.

I have serious doubts about 1UP predicting a KH game releasing on a console (Final Mix anyone?).

Yeah, I'm still pissed at them for telling me Final Mix was comming to the US.  However, there is always a chance that they could be right.  Personally, it doesn't matter to me, because the 3 platforms most likely to get the KH spinoffs (PSP, DS, and Wii) are all sitting right in front of me.

They said KH3 development would start when FFXIII devlopment ended in 2008, so I would expect the Wii.

I hope it's on PS3...I was impressed with the graphics on KH2, they would be freaking AWESOME on PS3. And hey, I bought and beat the first two, and now I even have the new Sony console, I want that game. I don't think 360 owners would jump on that kind of game...but I admit that it would fit Wii users pretty well. I still want it on PS3 though.

That's understandable. If it's on the PS3 I won't be playing it for a while.  I won't be buying a PS3 until they are $250.  I have plenty of stuff to play though so that wouldn't matter to me.  I'll play it eventually either way.

Maybe what they're going to announce for the Wii is Final Mix or something. By which I mean it could be a remake/port of one of the existing games.
