I can. I honestly don't care for modern FF characters much. If they had included characters from the good FF games like VI, IX, and IV, then I would care. Instead they added Squall, Cloud, Sephiroth, and others I could care less about. I really don't like any of the 3D FF games much except for IX. I think they killed the fantasy RPG that it was supposed to be and made it into a sci-fi RPG, which sucks. Honestly, I play KH for the Disney characters. I would love a Disney/Nintendo character KH developer by Square Enix.


I didn't play KH 1 so I can't really comment about it but I didn't find Sora retard in KH2 ... He seems pretty desperate to make bad comment about Disney characters imo...


Sora was an okay character... I mean he doesn't rank among the best of all time, but he's certainly better than most FF main characters. For example:

Cloud: An emo
Squall: An emo in love
Tidus: The most annoying main character of all time. He would not shut the hell up. I didn't realize anyone could possibly whine that much.
Vaan: He was more feminine than Penelo. Not to mention he was spineless and took a back seat to the other characters in his own damn game...

I can agree that that Vaan and Tidus are a bit wussis. But calling Cloud and Squall emos, sir you have gone to far. FF8 may have sucked but Squall must be the coolest character of them all. I still believe that the reason you hate the newer FF games is your bias against Sony and it does dont matter if you like FFIX^^.

So, I bought a PSone, PS2, and PSP because I hate Sony?  I must hate Nintendo, Sega, Atari, and Microsoft too because I own their consoles as well...

The reason I dislike Final Fantasy VII, VIII, X, and XII is because they are not the same style of game that FFI-VI and IX are.  There are a lot of people who have been playing Final Fantasy since long before FFVII was released you know.  The old Final Fantasy games were Fantasy RPGs.  They had a very specific style, and rather than continue with that style FFVII rewrote it entirely.  That annoyed me.  Final Fantasy IX returned to that old school style, and that's why I like it.  X and XII though tossed it out again...

I'm sorry that people have different opinions than you, but it has nothing to do with the console, it has to do with the style of the games.  There are a lot of former FF fans who agree with me about the change made by FFVII being bad.  Just as there are a bunch of Metroid fans who dislike Metroid Prime.  You are never going to get everyone in the world to agree with you...

Haha no I'm sure you aren't the only one.  If you ever want to play FF games, I recommend you start with FFVI.

Just because I own Nintendo consoles does not mean that I man not biased against Nintendo.  It would have been different if this was your first post but many of your posts I have seen has been anti Sony.  So sorry if I dont believe you but I dont think that this is going to bother you.

In all honesty, the only RPG I played before FFVII was Super Mario RPG. But still, I liked FFVII...more than I liked FFVIII, and FFIX wasn't bad, but I didn't like it as much as the other two. Then X came out, and the graphics were totally kickass, but everything else was too simple. FFXII is so far a little hard to get into. Interest-wise. XIII however looks totally sweet.

I like facts.  That's my favorite thing, and that's why I'm on a game sales site.  I reinforce facts, and I debate facts.  I'm a numbers guy.  Right now, numbers favor Nintendo.  Do I like Nintendo better than Sony? Yes.  Does that have anything to do with Square Enix games? No.  They are a 3rd party.  They have nothing to do with Sony.  I certainly have nothing against Sony consoles or Sony games.  One of my favorite RPGs last generation was Dark Cloud 2 which is Sony first party.  So is Ratchet and Clank, and I have loved every game in that series except the PSP one, which was okay, but not great.  

So, I guess I'm saying yes I have a Nintendo preference (bias if you prefer), but I do not hate Sony, and me prefering Nintendo has nothing to do with a 3rd party game series like Final Fantasy.  However, you can believe what you want.  My reasons for my opinions about the Final Fantasy series are of course my own, and I don't expect everyone else in the world to share them.
