There are a lot of people who have been playing Final Fantasy since long before FFVII was released you know. The old Final Fantasy games were Fantasy RPGs. They had a very specific style, and rather than continue with that style FFVII rewrote it entirely. That annoyed me. Final Fantasy IX returned to that old school style, and that's why I like it. X and XII though tossed it out again... I'm sorry that people have different opinions than you, but it has nothing to do with the console, it has to do with the style of the games. There are a lot of former FF fans who agree with me about the change made by FFVII being bad. Just as there are a bunch of Metroid fans who dislike Metroid Prime. You are never going to get everyone in the world to agree with you... |
Just because I own Nintendo consoles does not mean that I man not biased against Nintendo. It would have been different if this was your first post but many of your posts I have seen has been anti Sony. So sorry if I dont believe you but I dont think that this is going to bother you. |
I like facts. That's my favorite thing, and that's why I'm on a game sales site. I reinforce facts, and I debate facts. I'm a numbers guy. Right now, numbers favor Nintendo. Do I like Nintendo better than Sony? Yes. Does that have anything to do with Square Enix games? No. They are a 3rd party. They have nothing to do with Sony. I certainly have nothing against Sony consoles or Sony games. One of my favorite RPGs last generation was Dark Cloud 2 which is Sony first party. So is Ratchet and Clank, and I have loved every game in that series except the PSP one, which was okay, but not great.
So, I guess I'm saying yes I have a Nintendo preference (bias if you prefer), but I do not hate Sony, and me prefering Nintendo has nothing to do with a 3rd party game series like Final Fantasy. However, you can believe what you want. My reasons for my opinions about the Final Fantasy series are of course my own, and I don't expect everyone else in the world to share them.
