hahaha, stfu. You obviously have NO idea wtf your talking about and neither do you john. There have been plenty of major titles on the PC that have been developed on the PC. And BF1943 isnt even a major game, its a small game which has 3 levels in it. Such a massive game there as it will be on XBL for 1200 MS points.

 

YAY...the point is pc gaming is dying (sans MMO's ) And for good reason...its just not as fun. Yes there will always be a small nich for it.

But its pretty simple...consoles are better for gaming, computers are better for everything else.

StarDock sucks so piracy of any of their games is definitely going to happen. ID are a bunch of idiots but lucky Wolfenstein is being done by Raven who are PC first.

Battlefield 2 imo is the greatest FPS of all time. I put so many hours into that game and about 8 of us at my work also hopped onto the 2142 wagon as well.

This 1943 game is pretty disappointing, especially since it is coming out last for the PC.

Where is Battlefield 3 at EA? Epic Fail!

EA, ID, Stardock... Are there any developers you do like enough to pay for their games?

On a side note: Stardock made Sins, so I don't see how they suck.

Not to steal your birthday cake but there are so many things wrong with this thread.

First, you are judging the quality of a game before it is released because of what it is published for.

Second, you are judging the quality of a game before it comes out based on what franchise it belongs to. 

Third, you are going to boycott possible great products because a company made a business decision you don't like.

Fourth, why would you want to buy a battlefield game based on a night time soup opera.

 

I too judge them on what they are published. Console shooters have never been anything complex. Ever.

I was excited about BF1943 until I found out it only had 20 players.  I dont think we will be missing ou tby skipping it.

wow that's stupid. but it will have only 3 maps, I won't be getting it anyway, now with only 20 players there's even less reasons to play it
