and what are you basing this prediction on? Because Halo's biggest seller sold less than 2 of the GT games? Because Halos biggest seller barely sold more than GT's 3rd highest?

you realize that halo 3 is now getting a big bundle right??

And the fact that Halo 3 is arguably more popular now then GT is.

AND if i am wrong then i will rightfully eat crow (but i'm pretty sure on this one)

This is actually an interesting question... Personally, I think Halo will narrowly edge it out in the end but it should be close. If GT5 had released last year, I'd probably put the odds in favor of it. Either way, I think GT5 will sell 8m+ when all is said and done.

I think GT5 will break 10 million, while Halo 3 will probably get near or break 11 million when all is said and done.

Halo 3 will probably win in the end.

XD What the heck? you might want to fix that!

Taking into consideration all the bundling that went on with the GT series, and the install base of the PS2 vs. the Xbox, Ithink past sales will not accurately predict those of this gen. Also, given the HUGE following of Halo3 and slightly lesser following of the GT series, coupled with the install base of this gen consoles...well...Halo3 wins.

I noticed the TC just called someone a kid just because someone disagreed with him *gasps*.

As for on topic, that would be a tough one, but I'd say more likely Halo 3 mainly because of the PS3's not-so-high install base as well as Halo 3 starting to be bundled with Elites.
