Why is this game still so expensive?  it certainly doesnt appear to be selling great.  stores still have it at like $70.

It is by OmegaForce... Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Dynasty Wariors Gundam, etc...

Their games rarely drop in price until two years after release... They sell to the same 50,000-100,000 cult following everytime.

o rly? i didnt know that. i guess i will just have wait for n3 2 to come out then :( . i thought the first n3 was much better than those series anyways. this one seemed interesting though...maybe it will be a reasonable price next year.

just buy it used then - I got my copy for 27€ on ebay (shipping included) 10 month ago .. very repetetive game, but I thought it was fun (and somehow clocked over 40hours in it - I lvled the different army types like a mad man)

honestly...i looked on ebay as well before posting. most seemed about the same price or more expensive. i saw a couple at $55 but they were french. ideally i dont want to pay more than C$30 for it.

Yeah, it is pretty fun, and it also reminds us of all those forgotten Mongols and Roman legionaries who lost their lives in the Hundred Years War. History books like to gloss over that stuff.

don't forget the camels, the war elephants and most importantly the magicians - such a fucking awesome unit, but apparently they burned them all alongside Jeanne d'Arc afterwards .. a real shame
