Seriously though. That's pretty cool. Wonder if there would be a way to screw with the regions and get it in the US. |
It should work on it now as far as I am aware.... if not then just use a PC like everyone else (or Wii or PS3 browsers)
I just watched it from the Wii browser, it works well, no loading bits in the middle of the show, although the resolution isn't as good as from my laptop.

Yeah but i mean... you live in the UK... right?
I wonder if I could could "cheat" the BBC and make them think I live in the UK when I don't.
Cause the BBC stuff only plays for British people right?

I would have thought as it is on the internet you can view it where you like..... try it now: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/
If you see programs you ave never heard of before (in addition to some Welsh programming) then it will work fine anywhere.

"Currently BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only, but all BBC iPlayer Radio programmes are available to you."
"Rights agreements mean that BBC iPlayer television programmes are only available to users to download or stream (Click to Play) in the UK. However, we are aware of demand for an international version.
Most radio programmes are available outside the UK in addition to podcasts, although sporting and other programmes may be subject to rights agreements.
In addition, many BBC News programmes are available for viewers outside the UK, as are BBC Sport highlights.
Do make sure you check for the latest updates on BBC iPlayer or contact your own country's broadcasters to find out if they offer a similar service to BBC iPlayer."
Comedy Central does this to Canada as well i believe.
