Forums - Microsoft - Are overall Xbox 360 software sales undertracked by 9%?

The current level of software sales for the Xbox 360 is: 224,640,919

With a Tie Ratio of 7.54

Microsoft states their tie ratio is 8.3

With a tie ratio of 8.3 total software sales would be ~:247,283,770

Does this make sense/what have I missed?

Wouldn't surprise me given that PAL software is undertracked for all the consoles. It's a big world out there!

downloadable content?

Yeah they are. Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter 4 are undertracked and it irritates the hell out of me. I want these numbers fixed before I ship out to boot camp in 2 months.

Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^

Not if you conquer it all. *Civ Rev was awesome, I found a tank and it made me a very happy explorer)

If it is undertracked for that reason, wouldn't it be wise to allocate the unallocated number of copies sold to the total because people use overall software sold as well as individual SKU sales numbers?

Tease.

If you consider this tie ratio on 30.2 instead of 29.8 it's even more undertracked.

But war... war never changes

No, it's overtacked by 11%.

Never mind,  I misread the post.  Had to go back to work quickly.  That'll learn me.  Maybe.
