The Conduit Release Date Official

April 23, 2009 - If you've followed SEGA's The Conduit on IGN, you will already know that the game is scheduled to ship on June 23. Still, the company sent out a release on Thursday afternoon making the news even more official than it already was. So to be clear, that's June 23, just like it used to be.

Developed by High Voltage Software, The Conduit is a Wii-exclusive first-person shooter set to the backdrop of an alien-infested Washington D.C. You take on the role of a super agent charged with uncovering a government conspiracy involving the alien cover-up and more. The title has received critical praise since its unveiling for its cutting-edge 3D engine and the developer's willingness to go the extra mile with regard to precise gameplay controls and features. Not only does The Conduit boast a fully customizable control scheme, but players will be able to take their gun battles online via a robust 12-player mode that supports WiiSpeak.

Its been said a lot.

I'll be reserving this week at GameStop.
I just really hope it turns out good, but hey, I thought Red Steel was really good, so maybe I'm easily impressed.

I would like to see how many reservations this game has now and how many before it comes out on....*oh whats the date.....oh yes June 23!...*

I wonder if the special edition promo helped increased preorders...or if a new trailer or information showing off the game increases preorders..would be helpful for future marketing purposes.

I think an epic commercial or 2 would really get the sales moving.
My Wii-owner friends have never even heard of this game.

Then you better go inform all of your Wii friends, neighbors or people you know who own a Wii to get this!

My one buddy was planning on getting this game..he doesnt care to preorder games...he claims he likes the adventure of searching for the game if its hard to find..however..with the new skins and the book..he said he's gonna have to preorder this one...
