X360 keeps outselling PS3 but the gap does not seem to increase, so what's going on? The figures are readjusted after NPD releases them? Some explanations please! :)

you do realize that the numbers on the front page are in "millions" right?

yes I do realize that but still seems very much out of pace, kind of problematic

The gap isnt increasing since the amount the 360 is outselling it by is minimal in the grand scheme of things and also the fact that the consoles are getting readjustments all the time when new information is gathered!

it went from 5.5 million to 8 million after a couple months including the holidays. That's huge.

10k here, 30k there, .......during the slower times of the year those numbers dont make as big of a dent as during the holidays.

A 6 week adjustment was made showing PS3 was close in sales the week prior to the NPD results. Now that the NPD numbers showed that that adjustment was........"incorrect", we may see another adjustment soon correcting it......or.....we may not.

It is up to the site administrators to determine of any adjustment is needed.

the game is about to change so things have to start swinging towards the ps3 some how and many thought the gap be be as big as 10mill b4 the year ends
