Zone of the Enders 3 - do you want it? That's the question being asked by Kojima Productions, who ponders over the popularity of the PS2 series in a recent podcast.

Zone of the Enders, in case you're one of those rubbish people who don't know, is a bloody brilliant anime-influenced mech game on PS2 in which you boost around as a giant robot, firing giant lasers and kicking bolts out of other giant robots, and wrecking cities as you go. And it has a good plot, too.

But Kojima Productions questions if the hardcore following the first two games garnered are enough to warrant a sequel.

"How many people really want Zone of the Enders a sequel?", asked the team via an integrated podcast in Metal Gear Solid 4.

"If there's so many people wanting to see Zone of the Enders, why not put the priority on top, a little further up," added the team, saying: "We just want to know."

They go on to urge listeners to "write your comments", so do the right thing and spam the crap out of them here, because a third game on PS3 would be f-ing sweet.
