if wii version have offline multi than it's good for me the only thing that might crush wii/psp game is release date. it would be stupid idea if codemasters release F1 2009 at the end of the year or at the end of this season along with 2010 edition.

Not good news for me, I wanted to play the PC version

I hope it plays more like the Grand Prix games and less like the EA F1 ones

wish the game flop. Just for them to find out, what they missed...

tracks looks kinda empty for me(some effects wouldn't hurt), they need work a bit on textures as well but overall looks good.
as long as codemasters will take this game seriously it will be good. i guess i will wait with buying wii racing game
 till this game will be released(and NFS: Nitro)

In-depth race simulators are rare on the Wii and the format does not lend itself easily to the concept, but Codemasters is convinced it can deliver promising 'new standards for immersion and authenticity' including a full season, individual arcade-style challenges and a multi-player format.

Re: Bolded part - Excuse me?  Say what?  Where do people get off with this s---?!  That's like saying PS2/GC/Xbox couldn't do race sims, but they DID!  GT anyone?? While it may not be HD Wii can handle more than adequant graphics, online, and you only need one analog stick for driving, plus you can use the wiimote as a steer wheel as course so how exactly is the Wii not lending itself to the concept?

I think it does not really lend itself to driving simulators is more in comparison to the PS360, rather than in comparison to PS2 etc

Anyway, this should be a good game, F1 is getting much more interesting as of late, and seeing as Codemasters have done a good job with Grid and Dirt, this should also be good
