Forums - Microsoft - Is Anyone Else Glad That Bioshock 2 Got Rid of "Sea of Dreams" in the Title

When I heard that Bioshock 2 was coming out I was beyond happy!! Bioshock is one of my favorite games, so the second installment will be something I will definitely get into as well.

I wasnt so happy about hearing the title. Sea of Dreams? Sounds like a kids novel. :S

Is it just me, or is anyone else relieved that they chose to keep it simple?

yep.

I thought the "Sea of Dreams" was appropriate for the 1960s timeline of bioshock and the plot of why Rapture came to exist. I'm fine with the title either way though.

I'm not :(

The original title looked like it wouldv fooled you into a false sense of security, then once you get past the beginning of the game, it'll rip those security's away and you'll have one bad-ass game!!!

It doesn't sound childish at all. For whatever the reason they must have decided a different subtitle fit better. What it is we'll have to wait and see.

How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...

Xbox 360 wants to KinectPS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

Shouldn't this be under gaming discussion?

Good riddance! All sequel sub-headings should be " The Quickening '' anyway.

I kind of liked that subtitle. Oh well nothing we can really do about it anyways.

End of 2009 sales predictions:

PS3 - 33 Million     360 - 40 Million    Wii - 75 Million

I'm a fan of juxtaposition so I'm not happy to be honest. I thought it was quite ironic and funny that an FPS would have such a soft title.

i don't care it's just a title.
