Electronic Arts announced today that its upcoming action adventure game Dante's Inferno will be coming to PlayStation Portable in addition to home consoles.

“Our team and the team at A2M are taking the vision for Dante’s Inferno and translating it directly to the PSP,” said Jonathan Knight, executive producer and creative director on Dante’s Inferno.

“PSP owners can expect to get the same level of fast, responsive gameplay through all nine detailed and unique circles of hell we are aiming to achieve on the consoles.”

The PSP version is in development by EA Redwood Shores and Artificial Mind and Movement. Dante’s Inferno takes players on a hellish adventure through nine circles of hell, Gluttony, greed, limbo, lust, anger, heresy, violence, fraud and treachery.

Dante's Inferno will be released in 2010 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PSP.

i wonder why PSP versions instea dof versions for DS or wii?

Id rather get the PSP version than ps3 version(yes I went there) unless there is something drasticly amazing on the console versions other than graphics.

Awesome news. More and more glad everyday I decided to pick up a PSP. Cheap games and big releases out this year.
