Advanced sales for Microsoft Corp.'s new Xbox 360 Elite Bundle increased upon availability at retailer Amazon.com.
On Tues., the product held a 572 percent increase in sales to rank as the No. 211 item in Amazon's Video Games division.

Microsoft this week said that the Elite Bundle will include two top titles for under $400.

The Xbox 360 Game of the Year Bundle will include titles Halo 3 and Fable 2 at no additional cost for $399.99.

The bundle follows the previous Elite Holiday Bundle release, which included Lego Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda.

The Xbox 360 sold 330,000 units to rank third in Mar. U.S. game sales.

Overall U.S. video game sales fell 17 percent in Mar. to $1.43 billion.

Microsoft in Mar. released the new Xbox 360 Elite Limited Edition SKU, which includes Capcom Co.'s Resident Evil 5.

I for one had no doubt that a killer bundle like that would sell well!

I am pleased, I hope to see some improved Fable/Halo sales to get them up to their respective 4M/10M sale marks which they deserve.

awesome, these games are great i still need to get fable 2. now they just need to bundle the arcade with banjo and pinata.

but this should push halo up to the ten million sales.
