More great news for 360.. it will continue throughout the year and for 2008 probably as well. PS3 is becoming completely irrelevant all over the world.

Lol, i dunno about "irrelevant," but its anticipated dominance in Europe hasn't materialised yet, and wont until at least half way through next year. With probably another price cut this year, and an enourmous, wonderful library of games, this Christmas should gaurentee that Europe becomes a viable market for the Xbox 360

We're a bit beyond half way through the year. *shrugs*

The rEVOLution is not being televised

Wait, didn't Sony own Europe or something like that?

Isn't Diomedes in Spain?

Yes - can't wait to see how he spins this one...

Well it's nice that it's getting some momentum. It'll be interesting to see how Halo 3 helps things over there.

As a quick aside, the Wii has now overtaken the 360 in France, Germany and Spain.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

It's fairly predictable. He will claim that the site is under tracking the PS3 in Spain. Just like how he claims the site is under tracking the PS3 every where else in the world.

yep. It seems the price drop really helps in PAL areas. See Sony!

When you price your console in PAL areas for 600-frickin euros (and in some countries like Greece 659), it's quite natural.

all because of the high price... if the price was the same X360 have lost this battle long...

Yep. Barely outselling a console which is almost twice as expensive is not exactly a stunning victory. Sony is doing fine, they just need to cut the price of the PS3 down to 499EUR, possibly as early as October. They need to get the PS3 down to $399/399EUR by next summer, and then sales will take off. Also, I'd expect a PS2 price cut to $99 this November - meaning, one final glorious holiday season for that lovable old beast.
