They have to remake FF7 first, then remake FF Tactics into a FF7 game before they can do a FF7-2. Square is such a good gaming company if only everyone else could be shameless whores like them.
I would be happy to have FFIX on my Wii...
I played at FFVII and FFVIII. I thought FFVII was good but way overrated and FFVIII horrible... The story is good but I hated the gameplay so much I wanted to toss my controller in my screen... O_o
FFIX is my favorite on the PS1 because like they say, they return to the roots, I love the medieval theme and Vivi is awesome! ^_^
But anyways, related to this topic, I usually don't like sequels because they ruin the previous story... Like FFX-2 ruined FFX's ending. :(

He's actually a pretty awesome character in FFVIII. The big thing about FF8 was that the story revolved around the characters, not the other way around (FFVII). That and, while Cloud stays emo throughout all of FF7, Squall actually does undergo various changes over the course of the adventure.
Squall will always be a better-designed character than Cloud.

My god that is so fake why make FFVIII-2 now why not when it was on the PS1.Its fake Soriku because the art behind the FinalFantasyVIII-2 title isnt hand drawn like all the other FF's why suddenly change now.
At the end of FFVII:CC it has the E3 FFVII trailer that was running on a PS3 in 05 i think it was.

Seriously though, FF VII would only come to PS3, or maybe it would be a PSN download for PSP and PS3, that would be incredible
