he's right, if u ever played real golf u know that it's unbelievable hard for the first weeks or even months, u need a loooooot of practise to get at least decent. when this can be done 1:1 in a video game, i'll be also able to say : 'beam me up, scottie' to land on a real golf court immeadatly |
Well, I'll admit, I've never played real golf (too expensive for my taste) but you're right, it won't be 100% like real golf but they are saying that they can tell the exact rotation of the Wiimote so if you twist it ever so slightly it'll affect the shot. They now include a little image of the rotation of the club relative to the ball (prior to swing) so you can judge how much to twist the wiimote to try and curve the shot. An awesome addition.
It also has difficulty settings so if true 1:1 is too hard you can drop to an easier difficulty and it'll be less true to life but easier to hit par.
My biggest problem with TW 07, which I own, is that like all EA sports games of the time, it assumes you know the sport inside out and doesn't even explain some golf techiques despite them being in the game. Knowing their Wii audience now, I'm really trust EA will cater to us novice players some more.
