I haven't been going there for a long time, maybe 6-7 months.

But I've only ever went once before to pick up a game on release, LBP, which was a hassle. Usually I preorder and just pick it up when I feel like it, but I really wanted this one, and I thought the last one was just some shipping problem....

It's too bad that they don't have much competition anymore. Someone should be able to do all these things correctly. Yaknow, preorder bonuses, games released on time, cheaper used games section, (not 50$ for a used cod4), nicer interior, consoles that work.... so on and so forth...

I think Amazon is starting to do the whole used games thing now, but I'm not quite sure how that's working out. Either way it's a lot easier to return faulty used games to Gamestop and get a new one than it is to ship one off back to Amazon. Besides that though, I usually buy all my games through Amazon (new). They always seem to have the lowest price, and it's free shipping if you don't mind waiting 2-3 extra days!

As far as brick stores go, it is too bad that Gamestop doesn't have any real competition. I hate how much they charge for used games, but I do absolutely love their return policy.

Yeah, you can buy a used game for a week then return it over and over. Really good deal.
