I and most of my friends rent most of our 360 games. If you don't pay for live what is the point of buying the game.

I was wondering how long it would take for PS3 trolls to show up.. |
Yea...rite.
That was just my initial reaction to news that I deemed totally unimportant.
Why care about the Canadian Rental market?

Oh I see, we should only care about the U.S market. They are the center of the world right? Is that what your implying?
Any news other about other markets are just deemed unimportant, thank you for clearing that up for everyone!

Look at the top 10 list of games played based off Xbox Live.. These games have been out for months and some over a year. Yet their still played... unless of course your trying to tell us they're not having fun? Xbox 360 Top Live Titles (based on UU's)
Edit - I would love to know where this theory came from? Cause from my point of view its busted by just looking at the top 10 games played on Xbox Live |
Yeah, but your graph is pointless unless you can provide data for the other consoles for comparison. I've tried looking for the top 10 games on PSN (so far, no luck), but this site's data on Wii usage will tell you that Wii gamers are still playing older games plenty. I didn't say that Xbox 360 owners get bored of games quickly, just more quickly than other console owners. It's a part of why I think the attach rate is as high as it is. I see a lot of people on Xbox Live who own tons of games and yet have few achievements in each of them (even ones that are really easy to get). That means that either they're not playing the games, or there's some special way to hide your achievements that I don't know about.
Unfortunately this means squat for the Publishers, or at least in the short run
Also, people dismissing Canada, its actually quite a strong market. Its very much the US, only on a much smaller scale, similar game tastes and software sales.
Again, UK maybe quite small, its also a gaming beast.

Maybe you should check what country he's from before making accusations (hint: it's not the U.S.!). The Canadian rental market is not very big most likely, and if this graph is any indication, not very representative of how the market works. I assure you that games like Wii Fit and Brain Training are decimating Resident Evil in sales even as we speak.

Eh, Who ever said that? I just dont deem such a specific Market in a non main territory important.
If it were the EU, Others, US, UK, Japanese etc normal markets then fine, but the Canadian Rental Market?

Low Blow Montana. :)
Just because you are barely in the top 100 on the 360 VG league should not colour your judgement. LOL.
I hope that's because all PS3 fans buy their games =)
@Montana - Perhaps some of those people with few achievments are pirates who do not feel the same need to get the most from games given they didn't syump up the cash for them?
