If Sony made PS3 like a Wii I'd buy X360.

Besides to make new playstation machine like Wii they would only need to release motion sensing controllers for PS2. No need to make it new machine.

Sacrifice graphics, online, Blu-Ray and 360/PC ports for a lower price and more of what really matters, original games? If the PS3 would still end up with the DS3 then yes, I wish it turned out more like the Wii.
