How much do map-packs usually cost in $s?



Atari 2600, Sega Mega Drive, Game Boy, Game Boy Advanced, N64, Playstation, Xbox, PSP Phat, PSP 3000, and PS3 60gb (upgraded to 320gb), NDS

The worst thing, is that I'll probably be forced to buy it due to VGC KZ2 clan matches.

 




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

I agree $3 per map is way too much, but let's see what these maps are first!  They could be amazing...

Even so, probably still not worth $3, but like nord, I'll probably also get it.

Actually, the article ends with "Watch this trailer and find out." right after that sentence, but since I didn't actually include the trailer in the OP, I didn't want to include that. And even so, $3 a map is pricy.

considering the Resistance 2 map packs are £3.99 for 2 maps, the K2 map pack is consistent on pricing. (assuming that the £>$ exchange rate remains)

I don't see what the problem is...

Except those are also expensive, but were given much less attention, because R2 was much less hyped than Killzone 2, and Killzone 2 has the better competetive multiplayer of the two.
