So Starcraft II is probably the most anticipated game that is coming out...does anyone know for a fact that it will be in fact released this year or will it actually be delayed a bit more...This game is going to be huge and i'm definitely going to update my PC to run this game but until i know a confirmed release date i dont want to do ne thing drastic.

Starcraft 2 is just an ongoing april fools joke by blizzard.

OT: They are in Beta state so hopefully by the end of this year early next year

They already have the engine up and running but not all units have been designed yet... let alone balanced. We all know Blizzard's reputation on fine tuning. I would be genuinely impressed if it was released anytime before December 2009.

now that they are owned by activision I wouldn't be surprised if they were pressured to rush it.

I have heard rumors of a September/November 2009 release (Gamestop list). But it is Blizzard so I never trust a release until it is confirmed.....and even then they like to push shit back. I have had it reserved at Gamestop back in February 2008, back when they had a November 2008 release date in the system......sheesh.

Oh well, I am planning on getting a whole new rig just to play this and Diablo 3, so the longer it takes the cheaper the rig I want will get.

i really hope it gets released this year...ive been playing the first starcraft with my friends for awhile now since the beginning of this year...still a classic game
