Sometimes you just gotta be careful you who become attracted to. Don't let yourself fall too much in love with someone when you're not sure how they feel about you. Of course you gotta make sure you don't confuse yourself - the word "love" itself is misused often. At a young'ish age, you might think you're absolutely in love with someone, but eventually you'll realize that there's others out there that you'll be much happier with.

When you meet someone and become friends and happen to like them, give it time to tell them but don't secretly keep it to yourself for too long - if you at least know they're not interested in dating you, it's obviously gonna hurt, but you'll at least know that you can move onto the next potential partner. If you've developed a strong connection with this person and still haven't told them but finally do at that point, you could be hurt even more. If you've known this girl for 3 years, it probably just wasn't meant to happen - if you two were meant for dating, it probably would've happened sometime during that period. If you do end up dating after so long, you gotta be careful that it doesn't ruin your years-long friendship.


For me personally, I felt that it wasn't till I was 19-20 that I was finally able to understand so many things about myself and others. As you mature and go through experiences like this, you'll find it easier to see things clearly. You'll be able "read" people better and get a good understanding of what they're like based on their personality and actions - sometimes it's really easy to point out the girls that just wanna have fun. Pay attention to the small details, get info, but don't be too quick to judge - just about anyone you see in your everyday could end up being the one.

theres always girls who aren't mature enough to realize which guy they should be going with...then there's always girls (who are usually older and got wise enough) who know which guy to go out with...its like some girls just wanna prove the "nice guys finish last theory"...all I can say is to girls you sometimes have to be a douche to get really appreciated
