I hate when patches are announced before a game is released. They know the game isn't ready but they will release it anyways and just give it a patch. Why not take an extra week or two (or however long it takes) to fix the problem? Is it that much easier to release a patch?

yes, because you can start printing the game while you fix problems. If it bothers you so much, why not just wait a few weeks after a game's release to buy it? Shouldn't be a problem since you like waiting longer.

the problem is when you don't have console connected to internet. it should be rule that every game from the start shouldn't have any glitches that need patches to begin with.

Very good point. That is very annoying.

I understand minor bugs that can be fixed later, but for the unfortunate non-internet users to get a game like the latest Tomb Raider on Wii with a game breaking bug.  No game should be released in a way that has the possibility of not being completable, other inconveniences are understandable and acceptable to be fixed later.

I also agree on the patches topic lke many many here mentioned. This why nintendo delays their games, not because they want to piss off their fans or create hype.

Its because they're perfectionists. if you noticed almost all of their games, developed either inhouse or some like retro, reviewed by critics hardly mention glitches and such in their reviews. this is just my opinion son dont take it seriously.

Yeah,

Nintendo spoils us.

I remember when I encountered my first loooong load screen, I was like, "What is this? This is unacceptable!"

Turns out... it is acceptable- its now the standard.

Graphics over content, or another way of putting it, decline of gameplay.

What?

You don't like interactive movies?

LOL,

You can always get games for free llewdebkram, just might have to wait a little while before you play them. What's a little jail time compared to a free game?

Only a joke, I don't want anybody telling their judge that CHYUII told them to break the law.

Honestly l hardly ecounters long loading times (from all the games and systems i played) the last game i had with that problem was SSBB cause of its dual layerd disc. Though it never bothered me and still doesnt.
