I agree with you about 2D gaming. Some of them are very fun. I hate the fact that new trends sometime obliterate old styles. It reminds me of music- Hip Hop is Great, but what about Jazz, Blues, Trip-Hop, Gospel, Classical...ect. There is great stuff there too.

DLC(especially Prince of Persia and Tomb Raider Underworld type of that just have to be bought if you want to actually finish the game). as long as it's something new and not pointless AND free it's ok - cause i already paid for game why should i pay for mikro add-ons like 1-2 new car or new track?

overly short games - wtf with all those games that can be finished in 4-10 hours?! even if the game is heavily multiplayer based i should have solid single player campaign damnit!

games with yearly or even monthly editions(NFS, CoD, GH, RB) - instead releasing sequels/5 versions of the same game every year why don't you actually work on the title and make it big so people will be anticipating next game and won't be feeling like they were just f**ked straight up the ass?

multiplatform games that almost everytime end up bad on every platform that don't have Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in the name. if you actually are working on multiplatform game make sure you will release at least a decent game on every platform and not good ones on ps360 and shovelware on everything else.
