If not, it must have been a gimmicky game, or one that could be fun for a while, but not for too long. Nintendo does have strict quality control...

Of course! Just look at Mario Party 8 or Pokemon Battle... definitely lots of quality control going on there.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

Na I´m just kidding, Mario Party has been a sell-out for a while now and I didn´t even bother with Pokemon Battle, liked the 64 version though... I think it was stadium.... anyway I don´t mind you speaking your thoughts on Nintendo, even they don´t get everything right all the time.

EDIT: ah, beaten again... this just isn´t my thread

While I'm not a fan of Mario Party 8 or Pokemon Battle, those at least appealed to people and weren't bad games as long as you wanted a decent party game or Pokemon game. What I can guarantee you happened with Project Hammer was that the game just wasn't fun for anybody. We've been hearing and seeing things about the game for than a year and I imagine it was in development for another year before that. They've probably had plenty of chances to make the game actually fun and the producers finally pulled the plug on it.

Toucheé.  Except those are good for what they are, which isn't very much, especially for PBR which is worth maybe half the price, but they are fun.  If Nintendo cancelled H.A.M.M.E.R. is was probably a 'Lair' type game.  Looked like great fun, but wasn't really.

Now you're just asking for Lair injections in this thread.  Too bad about the game, but yeah the big game is Disaster. If that goes the way of the Buffalo, then you'll hear cries of anguish.

Why?  He never claimed sony has good quality control.

Mario Party 8 is fine, it's just another Mario Party game that doesn't change up much.

Pokemon stadium however is a stripped down Pokemon Stadium game for the N64 with better graphics and a half hearted character customization built in.

I don't think anyones really mourning though because it was pretty clear this was going to be canceled months ago, it just wasn't official.

Besides which, one game won't make or break any system and this was a new IP that didn't have much hype behind it.  This ain't Metroid or even Mario and Sonic at the Olympics.

Honestly i'd be more upset if Ninja Bread Man got canceled.  I'm just waiting for that game to defy all odds and actually be pretty decent.

This new sucks. Better to can it now than spend $20 million on a turkey/dragon.

To reiterate:

CANCELED IN JAPAN ONLY!!!!!!!!
