Do not keep going to the same store there are plenty of them around. After three times returning to the same store they can stop you returning game but multiple stores would never know. lol.

I even tried out a Wii for a week and returned it within 7 day return period. Yeah Wii is a good system but not for me.

That is correct. I pass the game through on Easy or Normal get bored and want to play a different game. I am no perfectionist who aims to unlock all achievements in a game. I get bored easily with some of the games and yeah there have been some huge letdowns and nice to keep playing a different game all the time.

This trick works for all console and handheld games except for PC game which generally have no return policy on them.

Another cheap trick is to use the 15% discount voucher you get from webmail from EB Games. Make a new account with different email and just keep getting unlimited 15% discount vouchers that can be used to buy second hand or new games/software only, can not be used for hardware purchases.

Return the game within 7 days Store credit or cash back or back on credit card. Yeah or you can just put it towards your next game and just keep the cycle going. Some people may call me a douche bag for doing this trick. I mainly buy preowned copies of games that have the scratch disc warranty included in price of game. I do keep the games that I like though. But there are some games that just get boring quickly and you can not be bothered. Avatar game on X360 is good for a whole 5 minutes. You keep tapping B over and over and get those 1000 achievement poins. All that game is good for then you return it back to store in same day and get another game which you may return after 6 or 7 days. Repeat process over and over.

Why would you need to go to another store? At my local store, they outright say that this can be done.

sadly, it is people like you who make stores destroy their return policy. I went to a store a while back and they had a return policy of "we don't have one" I didn't buy anything from there and instead went over to a store that would let me legitimately return the product if I had a problem.

this is just shady...

while "shady" it is totally allowed by the rules that the stores specify. I take advantage of the return policies once in a while, but I don't continually do it.

My problem is when people continually do it and then the stores respond by making their return policy really crappy.
