I dunno, wasn't Sonic Rush good? I don't know since I haven't played it.

I remember Nights having music similar to that. I found it kinda creepy... but than the happy music would play after the boss fight.

Actually it wasn't bad. It was in the league of the Genesis games.

However Sonic Adventure 2 was just one of the greatest games I've ever played.

Rush was okay, but I never found what was so great about it.

EDIT: Honestly, I thought Advance 1 and 3 were way better than Rush.

I have to admit, Sonic 06 is the worst Sonic game ever and should burn in hell

...but it did have a great soundtrack.

I think the majority of Sonic 3 and Knuckles songs were great, same with Sonic Adventure and Sonic 2.

Sonic Advance 3 has some nice songs too.
