According to an admin on the Pandemic forums, "Battlefront 3 is not currently at Pandemic. While I know the title seems to be up in the air from all the buzz around the web... Lucas Arts will be the only one knowing where the title is at right now."

This was posted on March 9th, so it's old news, but I didn't ever see any news about it on here. I'm wondering where it might be, or if the admin just flat out lied (which I doubt). Hopefully we'll get to see the game eventually, and hopefully it'll be at least pretty close to as amazing as the leaked footage from Free Radical.

at least we are getting some news about it.

dsister; I wish it was good news though. And like I said, this is from over a month ago. Right now, it's pretty much in limbo...

of course it's not at pandemic. There is a reason that they gave it to free radical instead of pandemic again. Pandemic was bought by EA and that means they are under the arms of another publisher.
Then Free radical had to go and self implode and now it's probably in limbo.

The fact that Pandemic wasn't going to make it was known like 2 years ago when they were bought by EA. So, this is actually REALLY OLD news...

well its better than nothing. i hope it gets released eventually. about the same time as duke nukem forever.

See, there was a rumor going around that it'd left Rebellion and headed over to Pandemic, which is where I got that from. So, actually, it's just confirming that it isn't at Pandemic, rather than just being ancient news.

well lucasarts is letting bioware make the kotor mmo. why wouldn't they let pandemic make sw; battlefront?

because Lucas arts had a pre-existing deal with bioware on that.  Also, bioware had been working on it for like 3 years already when they were bought out, so it would have been too much wasted effort to cancel the project. 

As it is, I'm sure that Lucas Arts had a contract with Bioware that couldn't be broken.  Most publishers don't like lining the pockets of their rival publisher's.

well, they have had a great relation with both pandemic and bioware in the pass. and they have a serious internal studio problem.and if they couldn't find anybody else to do it they cold have easily tried to get pandemic. and lucasarts really doesnt care about ea, they are a movie studio first and a game pub second

I just want Battlefront 3 to be released already!!!
