Also, bioware had been working on it for like 3 years already when they were bought out, so it would have been too much wasted effort to cancel the project. As it is, I'm sure that Lucas Arts had a contract with Bioware that couldn't be broken. Most publishers don't like lining the pockets of their rival publisher's.

well, they have had a great relation with both pandemic and bioware in the pass. and they have a serious internal studio problem.and if they couldn't find anybody else to do it they cold have easily tried to get pandemic. and lucasarts really doesnt care about ea, they are a movie studio first and a game pub second
