I've seen recent reports that more people have plans to buy the Wii in the future than a 360 or PS3. Does anyone have a link to said statistics? I know I've seen it, I just can't find it at the moment.

on a sidenote: hey bods, did you see the stats for stranglehold? doing pretty well, i think it'll be ok, i played the demo. it's the best Max Payne ripoff since Max Payne itself, cool gunplay. now that would be a sequel i'd love to see.

Well for people who already have a PS3 or a 360 a Wii makes most sense since there is very little overlapping in the games library, if you have a PS3 or a 360 buying the other one is more expencive and offers only a few extra games. Also PC many gamers are interested in a Wii since it´s something the PC can´t offer. If you don´t have a current gen console yet the Wii´s price makes it the most tempting if you don´t want to spend to much money.

I´m happy Stranglehold isn´t bombing like some expected, I don´t care if its a Max Payne clone, if Payne didn´t want to be cloned he´d get his ass on a new platform :) I just like some nice cinematic mindless shooting sometimes :)
