Forums - Gaming - My Toys R Us has a massive Nintendo section; small PS3 & X360 section.

Well, all that shovelware has to be stored somewhere untill it winds up in a landfill.

That's exactly the size of my Toys R US' PS3 section.

The 360 section is almost as big as the Wii's though. The only difference is the Wii's accessories are on a different aisle.

can't even remember the last time i was in a toyrus store

*aisle

isle = island

aisle = row

A couple of thoughts

1. Toys R Us has also sold a lot of video games -- from Atari 2600 era to present.

2. About a year ago, Toys R Us increased its Wii space and started downsizing the other consoles. First it was the PS3, then it was the Xbox 360.

3. On a similar vein, Wal-Mart recently rearranged its video game display area to give the Wii the primary (first slot) in the display cabinets -- the place previously home to the PS2.

4. What stores are really going after Wii (and DS) gamers? -- Toys R Us and Wal-Mart.

5. What stores does NPD not track? Toys R Us and Wal-Mart.

The same, Gamestop biggest space is for the Wii/DS. And thinking on that what's the difference between Wal Mart, Toys R'Us and Gamestop? The product is the same and the price too?
