Those reviews are wrong.  You should give another one a try if you have the time.  Link's Awakening (Game Boy) and A Link to the Past (SNES) are some of the best 2-D Zeldas, and Twilight Princess (Wii) is basically an epic tribute to Ocarina (it's a sequel that takes place 100 years later), and I thought it was way better.

Please, T-max, do not take this the wrong way, but you lack determination (*hopes it doesn't sound harsh). I'm guessing that's why you never felt that satisfaction.

Believe me, you will get that from great game that challenges, maybe more like teases you from time to time, to actually give you the feeling to really want to beat the game. Makes you want to say "I sure showed him".

So, I think you need to work on the "I want to beat this" and "not to admit defeat" thing going. Atleast that's what I do.

 

Hmm... Strangely enough, the songs "I want you bad" and "We all defy you" from Offsprings just popped up in my head when I was posting this... Must be a coincidence.

 

I didn't feel defeated by the game, I got around half way through it getting stuck occasionally but working out what to do and then I just sort of lost interest. I am normally really stubborn about games, and refuse to stop playing until I have completed it fully but it seems Zelda just isn't for me.

My 1st Zelda game was Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past. It was probably the best game I played on the Super Nintendo. I think my favorite Zelda game is Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The game was amazing. I remember watching the commercials that hyped up the game. I could even remember the days following up to the release of the game.

Why?

NES games were easily outdone by Startopics and Crystalis
MM,stupid 3 days crap,PH I don't know where to begin my hate for this,just everything about it bugged me..ok one positive,Visually amazing for DS but that's it.
