I remember two crazes. Marbles, and flippo's. Dunno if anyone here knows what flippo's are, or if they go by a different name in the US but, it where these plastic circular thingies and they where great to play with against eachother or trade

Promoting Lesbianism -->
video games were still a craze when I was younger
Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

Pokemon for sure. I have hundreds of cards and I've spent over a thousand hours on all the games up to Ruby and Sapphire. Digimon as well, but to a much lesser degree (I was really into the first season, but never really cared after that).
...Legos? I'm not sure if that's still a craze or not, but I loved those things. I had a whole metropolis of legos. There were all these crazy characters, and for some reason there was a medieval style castle in the middle of the city. The king was always causing trouble and randomly killing civilians.
Ahh...good times.
