lol, Doom 3 to me was about as scary as a visit in Disney Land (ok, that might be quite scary - ever thought how horrible it would be to be molested from behind by Goofy ? *ughhh*)

Resident Evil 3 and the times with Nemesis jumping out of nowhere and seeming unstoppable almost made me sh*t my pants a few times.

Doom? really??? here is a short list of games that are scarier then doom

Silent Hill 1-3 (although all are really scarier then doom)
Siren Blood Curse
Resident Evil 1-3 and Code Veronica
Fatal Frame 1-3
Clock Tower 1-3
Haunting Ground
Rule of Rose
Dead Space

Hell even Bioshock is scarier then Doom in my opinion
