Black/white/red chibis would be pretty awesome, it's true.  And a giant but still somehow chibi version of Frank would be hilarious.  Chibis of Black Baron and his girlfriend would own.  I'm convinced.  I want it now.

@axumblade, yeah that's the best zombie game ever, and still one of my favorite 2 player co-op games of all time.  Today's games need more cheerleaders, Martians, and giant babies.  And more protagonists that wear 3-D glasses while they save the world.

That game really doesn't take itself seriously anyhow.

Neither is Doom, but I killed a bunch of zombies in both those games.

Ooh, I thought of a new one.  Chibi House of the Dead.  A chibi game in the arcade games would blow my mind with its irresistable cuteness.  Chibis may have even been able to save the horrible movie.

Metal Slug 3's zombie levels kicked ass, but the characters are already chibi-esque.  I guess they'd just need bigger cuter eyes, and maybe more sparkles and smiles.

@famousringo, I'd never seen that film before. It was beautiful. Like a magic hybrid of Metal Slug and River City Ransom. That's what I want out of chibi video games.

That guy should make games instead of movies. Or somebody should make that into a game for me.
