Still like the title better than the Japanese title for Eternal Sonata... Trusty Bell?

Thankfully now it's ES and that sounds good.

There are actually strange people that like Trusty Bell better than Eternal Sonata though I have absolutely no idea why.  Still though, even Trusty Bell is better than Infinite Undiscovery.

Meh, I doubt this will sell many 360s... Japan just hates the Xbox, Microsoft needs to realize this.

lololol, this is a tri-Ace game, Square Enix has nothing to do with its development or conception and it's been known about for over a year. What's gamepro smoking? Microsoft is even publishing and helping with the development, SE's name will most likely not even be featured other than the uninformed few that actually think SE is developing it.

ssj12, the reason Japan hates the Xbox is THERE ARE NO GAMES FOR IT THERE. It's that simple. There's no demand for a system that has no games (see, Gamecube worldwide sales).

Think about it, the X360, despite selling around 75,000 less systems during launch, has well overtaken the Xbox's sales at the same point in time, and will double the Xbox's LTD sales overall, if not more.

Why? More games. The Xbox had very, very few games sell in the 50k+ range outside of DOA and Halo. The X360 has had nearly a dozen, if not more, games hit that range. Only 2 are DOAs.

Japan just hates the X360 lineup, since it's void of RPGs, and other Japanese fare. This is why Blue Dragon has nearly sold 200k units, Eternal Sonata and Oblivion have sold 70k, and so on.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

I'm one of them :P And yes Infinite Undiscovery is in development for quite some time, these screens were added yesterday.

Grrr... it better become multi platform!  This looks freakin awesome! I'm a real sucker for these kind of games, especially as it's from Tri Ace and the game has a lot from Star Ocean / Valkyrie Profile Silmeria.

Star Ocean is a Tri-Ace developed series. How is Infinite Undiscovery being published by Square Enix any different from Square Enix publishing the Star Ocean series which are also Tri-Ace games. Tr-Ace and Square Enix have a long standing developer/publisher relationship.

On a side note, Square Enix has never been the internal developer on the Dragon Quest series. The Dragon Quest series has always been farmed out. Dragon Quest I through V were developed by Chunsoft. Dragon Quest VI and VII were developed by Heartbeat. Dragon Quest VIII and IX were developed by Level 5.

Edit: Those are some nice screens you found Onna. Since Square Enix is publishing the game and not Microsoft there may be a chance that Infinite Undiscovery gets a PS3 rendition, but I am not sure. I was under the impression that MS was paying for its development. Maybe that has changed now.

Nice screenies!

I'm definately looking forward to IU. Probably will wind up another day-one purchase for me. I just love this X360 JRPG lineup. Not the best in history, but the past year has been very good for JRPGs, both for the X360 in BD, LO, ES, OD and such, but also for every system (Jeanne D'Arc, Rune Factory, Luminus Arc, Rogue Galaxy, Persona 3, ect).

Hmm strange, in Japan it's published by Microsoft, bad, very bad news and in the US Square Enix... sounds better.

Hmmm...that doesn't make sense. It would make more since for Square Enix to publish it in Japan than the US. The Square Enix name would be more of a positive for Japanese 360 sales. In the US, I don't think SE's name will be as helpful to the games sales as it would in the Japan. Plus if Microsoft is publishing the game, then its exclusive.

looks like a nice title. this will help the 360 in japan

I really enjoyed Star Ocean 3.
