oh, and the candles don't have to be that big. I've used small candles. And usually they say the room has to be dark but I've tried it in the light too and it works.

Yeah, candles will work......but who wants a console that needs fire to work properly? You may as well toss in a gas powered engine and a hamster wheel! Get a new one from Nintendo.
