Copying a similar thread from the MS forum, what are you guys most excited about this year, and potentially next year?
I don't want to start the thread with something a million other people are gonna say (GOW III, GT5, Heavy Rain, etc) so I'm going to say that I'm most excited for MAG.
I'm kinda getting sick of the small maps and lack of vehicls in KZ2, and I'll really love to play a game that'll reward careful tactics over relexes. The more I learn about this game, the more I become hyped. There's hundreds of weapons, customization for your character, a number of vehicles, and of course 256 players in one game. I was really interested in hearing about the general leading the army, and it sounded a lot like BF2, which I never played and always wanted to. I hope this game gives us PS3 owners something that was always on the PC, and perhaps maybe make PC owners a bit envious of us PS3 owners as well.
I really hope that not only does the game provide us with means to communicate and strategize between squads, but the community does so as well. I'll be happy as hell if my squad leader takes initiative and leads us to attack from the side, instead of rushing right through the middle and constantly respawning as most FPS games do.
