Last week, KZ2 sold 17,685 copies and COD:WAW for PS3 sold 17,320 copies.

KZ2 has only been out for 7 weeks but its sales number has almost been surpassed by a game which has been released for 5 months.

I am saddened by this result coz KZ2 is a good game and it derserves way more attention than this.

I can't believe so many PS3 owners buy COD:WAW over KZ2 despite it being their own exclusive game and a superior FPS.

Do they really hate supporting their exclusive titles so much?

Don't compared the biggest franchise in HD gaming to Killzone........just don't do it. :)

Don't worry one of my friends that recently got a PS3 is going to buy KZ2. He might buy CoD:WaW also since he likes CoD:4.

Killzone 2 was never going to outsell COD. Everyone knew that.

Killzone is selling fine, no need to worry.

I know the COD franchise is popular but KZ2 is also getting a huge amount of hype and attention from the web.

It's disappointing that these hypes don't transform into sales.

Back to your places, everyone, panic's over. This one guy is going to get KZ2 before he gets CoD:WaW

In other news, I've yet to get KZ2, I'm not in a rush to get it.

People stick to the brand they know and like. They loved COD4, so will usually automatically get the sequel in this case COD5 even though KZ2 is a much better game. It's just an unfamiliar franchise.
Sony needs to bundle this game with all systems and throw in an older AAA game as well, such as Uncharted or MGS. They need to really get the KZ name out there and get people to realize how good it really is.

What worries me is that KZ2's sales are still dropping every week.

I am afraid that KZ2 won't even sell more than 30k next week.

Well as long as life time sales reach around 3+ million that would be pretty good. Not sure how much it cost to make but you would think they would gain a healthy profit from 3+ million sales.

 I definately hope so.

But as even COD:WAW is selling as many as KZ2 does right now,I can't imagine how many copies KZ2 will still do every week when MW2 comes out.
