DVDs, Blu-Rays, rentals, console sales, accessories for video games, etc. etc. 2. There are far more games released than movies, and movies tend to have their sales focused on a few blockbusters. Game sales stretch across the Wii, DS, ps2, ps3, PSP, PC, 360, Steam, PSN, XBLA, WiiWare, VC, etc. |
I would say that games are more heavily clustered than movies, and poor selling movies can still sell 20-30M which is better than what a poor selling game could expect. Furthermore movies can be a lot cheaper to make as well, all you need is yourself and a camera and a computer to edit really.
Tease.
