well i did just pull a number out of my ass so don't focus on that too much...

still, a majority of people (for their personal computer) don't really want to be savvy, they just want something that works without much effort. they are probably just surfing the net, storing pictures and listening music anyways. Macs are really good personal computers because it does those things easyily without having to be even remotely tech savvy.

...business computers on the other hand.

Me too i used a hacked osx in my netbook read my previous posts!!

is not the same

is not 100% emulation

and when u use osx u have it for some reasons more than your friend as it seems

call it music production software or graphics desing or anything somewhat creative

why everyone in arts use macs?

anyway

enough with this already

use what u want enough with it

i have both 2 real macs and a hackintosh (and built another 2)

is just NOT the same :)

Yes, it is. Because it's not emulation. It's just removing the artficial barriers that Apple put in place.

...which all run on said Hackintosh with full features.

There are a lot of studios that now use Windows. There is no longer a general software advantage as both platforms have two or three of each kind of professional app. The fact that some still use Macs is a matter of training or history.

Tell us how, so we can respond. "Feeling" is not enough - can be attributed to fanboyism which few people have.

Hackintoshes on full machines (of course netbooks aren't going to feel right; Apple doesn't even make a computer with specs as sucky as that) are identical save for the barriers Apple has made which can be circumvented with hacks (like Apple updates).

me and my friends all have macs and we love them. Windows always gave me problems. Macs give me none. it was worth every penny not to rack my brain all the time trying to figure out what the problem was with my PC. Mac FTW

In the same way, my friend's windows program ( i think he pays for it) can't do everything my PC can. Therefore he does lose out functionality. He hasn't tried Linux.
