Sega of America marketing exec Sean Ratcliffe claimed in a recent Venture Beat interview that "House of the Dead has done very well and has absolutely met our expectations. The first set of data for Madworld is very encouraging, as well."

This is great news. It means the games are profitable. Just goes to show the Wii/HD console split in terms of units necessary to profit.

Of course it was profitable, It only cost a few hundred thousand dollars to make and took about a year to do it. It was a fun game, but 4 hours to complete is really pathetic, and it only has 2 or 3 unlockables, and no co-op.

Beat 'em ups survive on multiplayer.
