I'M thinking of getting either a ps3 or a wii, mainly so i can play rockband. i prefer the games on the wii, but i'm not sure if the graphics will be effected. are the graphics for rockband better on the ps3 or does it not change? p.s yes, i am probably a dumbass when it comes to these sort of things :s

there's your answer. i'm not sure why graphics in a game like rockband really matter, but i'm sure the wii version looks fine.

If you prefer wii, then get a wii. It is cheaper.

I'm assuming the graphics are going to be better on the PS3 but how much does that really matter for Rock Band?

A few questions that would help would be:

1. What kind of TV do you have?
2. Will you be going online?

PS3 has better sound and online for rockband i think, but rockband is good on both systems, you should look at the library of both systems and buy the console with the games that appeal to you.

It doesn't really matter for these types of games (IMHO) but yes the graphics on the PS3 are better.  Are they so much better that you will seriously care? Probably not.   

Is there any other game's that interest you?   If so, then we might be able to help you pick a system that fits best.

I have a wii myself and I"m very happy. But I'm sure the graphics in ROck band are better on ps3. But if you said games on wii interest you get a wii.

How big is the HD on Wii, and can you get Rockband DLC on Wii?

The big diff is the DLC and the audio quality, both of which the PS3 is definately the better purchase for.

But, if you prefer a Wii, it might not be wise to buy a PS3 solely because RB will be better on it.

erm i have a widescreen tv... not massive but normal. and yeah i do wanna go on the internet. i know the ps3 is more advanced and everything but i'm not sure the games are as fun
