But the car amount....knowing how much detailed is required for each car...it seems impossible.

I think if anything it would be a standard (a GT "Starter Pack" if you will) and premium edition (Both versions to include software + standard box only),
I doubt either version would be limited run "Collectors Editions" but I can see a limited ed. collectos edition released - Stig's Helmet shaped tin + Cap + Keyrings + other stuff.

And if this is true, it also increases the likelyhood however small it may be that God of War 3 will make it out this year as it usually releases in March

You'll be waiting a while, Forza 5 isn't due out for years.

But GT5 is looking very fun.  Few less cars than last time as I understand it but as another poster said, who wants to play with cars slower than our own?  The novelty would wear off pretty quick.

Awesome number of tracks too, even if there are some redo's.

Fuck, I hope it'll be a title for this years' holidays though. I get it faster- and Sony will sell more.
