Is the Wii the first console in gaming to be number one in the cycle yet not get most of the games the other consoles in the same cycle get from 3rd parties?

Yes.

 

Prior to the Wii's launch all the publishers wrote off the Wii and alocated almost all of their funds to X360/PS3 so it's been very hard to redirect funds more evenly now that the Wii is an unexpected success.

Do you think it will be on the wii? I hope it is, I might pick it up if so, but I can't see Ubisoft doing that.

I wondering if there's any real point, after missing the first one, how many Wii owners would want the next one? Anyone who really wanted this game would've bought an HD system for AC.

I think it would be better for Ubi to put its effort into an original (high quality not another "Z") game exclusively for the Wii, or in Wii versions of multi-platform games that haven't shown up yet, like Beyond Good & Evil 2.

If it was not coming to the Wii, it would have been corrected when Ubisoft said it was coming to the PSP as well.

Anyone here considering the possibility that somebody at Ubisoft doesn't think the Wii current-gen? They already slapped Nintendo owners in the face by skipping the Wii for Beyond Good and Evil 2.
